Textiles, light, and watercolour are combined to create a playful environment. Illustrating Space juxtaposes the flow of watercolour, the projected image, geometric forms, and the tactile quality of fabric to elicit a different sense of materiality. This together becomes a drawing in space where participants can immerse themselves and be part of the experience. This work builds an environment that interprets materials in unlikely ways in order to interrogate our relationship to material conventions and the space itself. An intersection between environment, architecture and drawing come together in this piece.
